Know Your Monthly Production Goal
The first step in reaching your goal is to know your goal. It may sound silly, but it all starts here. And we want to use the restorative schedule as the machine to reach that goal. Begin with the end in mind. And then set the plan on how to get there.
Know what your monthly goal is, and then each month convert that monthly goal into a daily goal. Then we create the restorative block schedule that will enable the team to reach the daily goal each day.
Some months may be shorter than others, and the daily goal must be adjusted accordingly. There may be months when there are vacations or unexpected closures. And when we have advance notice, we can adjust before and after. When we are surprised, then we must begin again. Our best frame of mind, is always to begin again!
Post Your Monthly Production Goal
Whatever computer software system you are using, I’m sure there is a place in your schedule or a goal setting feature that allows you to post your daily and monthly goals so that you can see them. What we measure and can see, we can create!
Set this up correctly and know where you are at when you schedule restorative appointments. Know the days where you are strong and the days where you are lacking.
Remember, we can only schedule each day what we are presenting and our treatment and financial presentations are key! Get the tools your team needs and shine!
Use Block Scheduling / Perfect Day Scheduling
Keeping your daily production goals in mind, set up the blocks needed to meet your goals with high production blocks of time. Everything else added to your schedule will be gravy!
Build A Strong Call List
Good patient relationships are essential in building a strong call list. Know who will be able to move forward should a schedule change arise. Move like appointments forward. Use newly opened time wisely!
