Defined Dental Practice Goals

Dental Practice Goals Defined brings greater results and goals reached.

Defined Dental Practice Goals Each Month

Defined dental practice goals is a monthly strategy.  And often includes practice growth with new patients in mind.  So, let’s visit our practice goals for this month.  In dental practice growth and expansion, we envision more.  But what does that look like for you?  Because you can set this goal as an individual or team leader.  Vision is important.  And achieved goals so rewarding!

Let’s say 40 new patients this month is the goal.  And the office is available for patient care 20 days this month.  Daily, we schedule 2 new patients.  That’s a solid, defined goal.  And that is step 1.  Then, let’s consider the steps to support this goal.  Action steps and an outline to get us there.

Dental practice goals defined bring us defined actions

Daily New Patient Blocks

Be sure to create new patient blocks.  Maybe one block in the morning and another in the afternoon.  What are the most requested times by new patients?  Where would it be most beneficial for the practice.  These are all great questions to ask.

Maybe hold one block as an emergency new patient call.   And the other block as a more comprehensive new patient exam.  But be flexible.  When we are too rigid, we struggle more to reach our goals.  There is a balance to the process that is difficult to explain.  It’s more of a feeling that comes with practice and experience.

Defined Dental Practice Goals Reached

Defined dental practice goals include a strong action plan.  For without an action plan, it’s just a wish and a hope.  And wishes and dreams are all okay.  But we have a specific goal to reach this month.  Dental practice growth and expansion with 40 brand new patients!  So, where with they come from?

Dental office new patients generate from 3 sources.  Our existing patients is our biggest referral source.  And then, let’s consider our community in general.  Our office signs and community involvement are huge!  Then, we also have the specialists or general practices we refer to.  For they also refer to us.  Right?
