Dental Front Desk Trust Begins With Training
Dental front desk trust is critical. The dental team must trust the front office. And the front office team must trust the team as well. But without adequate training, trust is impossible to create. And trust is the foundational key element to a strong team. Everything else grows from this basis of trust. If there is a level of dysfunction within your dental team, let’s take a step back. And look at the training. A lack of training creates a lack of trust. And then, let’s begin anew.
Business systems bring dependability to the dental practice. Dependability helps to build trust among team members. And business systems give the team a place to go when something doesn’t work well. A system is a great place to make an adjustment. Or perhaps learn something new. We avoid placing blame on a person when we revisit a system. We realize it is the system that needs modification and our team needs support.
Dental Front Desk Trust Grows With Vulnerability
Another great piece of my administrative training program is the opportunity to build relationships. Our relationships are what bring meaning and value to our life experience. And this is even true within our professional relationships. However, we must be real and transparent for growth to take place. This training program gives the team something positive to work with, talk about, and develop together!
The focus for the team now transfers to our dental administrative business systems and not a person. The team can take my systems and adjust these systems to suit the practice. Schedule regular business meetings, and work on development as a team! And allow this to be a regular occurrence. Because as our dental practices ebb and flow, so must our modes of operation. But not without discussion and agreement first!
Dental Front Desk Trust Grows Team Trust
What happens when we train our dental front office team? First, we establish that necessary sense of trust. We know we can trust our front office team to get things done. And to get them done well. But beyond that, we set the foundation for a dynamic dental office team as a whole. Because when we train the entire team in administrative and business systems, it happens. We plant a seed. And we water the seed. We give it room to grow! And our dental office team grows. Which in turn grows our dental practice.
Our dental team respects and trusts each other. And the team is unafraid to confront systems that may not work well. Because the team now understands the importance of efficient systems. The dental office team better commits to a plan and course of action. And engages fully in seeing their plans through. Our team members hold one another accountable to the systems. And pays close attention to the outcome.
